Rita Virginia Lawhorn

Fishersville, VA… Rita Virginia (Deaver) Lawhorn, 95, widow of Henry Ronald Lawhorn, Sr., passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Augusta Nursing and Rehab. She was born on September 10, 1923 in Vesuvius, a daughter of the late Theodore Franklin and Bessie Lee (Moran) Deaver. She is survived by one sister, Margie D. Ramsey; two granddaughters, Susan and Virginia Carter; three nieces; two nephews; and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Henry Lawhorn, Jr. and Karl Lee Lawhorn. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Rev. David Ball.
