Robert "Bobby" Campbell Jr.

Robert Fred “Bobby” Campbell, Jr., 72, husband of Agnes (Shiflett) Campbell, of Staunton, died Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Augusta Health.

He was born May 16, 1948, in Staunton, a son of the late Robert Fred and Cleo Barbara (Allen) Campbell.

Prior to retirement, he was employed by McQuay/Daikin with 30 years of service. He previously worked at Smith’s Transfer.

Bobby was a lifelong member of New Life Foursquare Gospel Church where he was active in various areas of ministry and for many years taught a pre-school Sunday School class. He greatly enjoyed Louis Lamour books, WWII movies and history. Bobby always enjoyed his time in Gypsy Hill Park with his walking buddies.

In addition to his wife, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Suzanne Campbell of Staunton; a daughter, Rebekah Smith of Staunton; a brother and sister-in-law, Scotty and Cathy Campbell; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Wayne Graham and Penny and Pete Burns; six grandchildren, Kristin, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Glenn, Shelby, and Haylee; and six great grandchildren, Jaiden, Parker, Liam, Reagan, Ayden, and Carter.

Services will be private.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020, in Henry Funeral Home.
