Robert Yankowski

Robert “Yanko” Yankowski, 73, husband of Donna (Frank) Yankowski, passed away on January 19, 2021 in Staunton, Va.

He was born on March 25,1947, a son of the late Adam and Antonia (Bukovac) Yankowski.

Prior to retirement, Robert was employed for Aladdin Food Service Management as the Director of Nutrition.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. He loved spending time with his family and he especially loved his dogs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kelli Jo Yankowski Bell of Loris, SC; a son, Adam Robert Yankowski, of Staunton; three grandchildren, Brandon Morrison and wife, Nicole; Timothy “Teddy Bear” Bell; and Antonia “Toni” Bell; three great-grandchildren, Caden Manning, Brylee Morrison, and Addie Haithcock; a special nephew Gary Yankowski and wife Cindy; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James “Sonny” Yankowski and a sister, Dolores “Dolly” Zych.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday January 22, 2021 at Henry Funeral Home.
