VERONA - Rodger Dean Austin, 64, passed away on October 9, 2021 at Living Waters Senior Care.
He was born on June 23, 1957 in Roanoke, VA to Nellie (Nicely) Austin and the late James Greer Austin.
Rodger liked to fish and enjoyed Nascar. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, David Wayne Austin (Robyn) and his sister, Donita Austin.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his son, James Cody Austin and his brother, James R. Austin.
A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
Friends may come by the residence at any time.
