Roscoe K. Johnson
Roscoe Kahlo “Butch” Johnson, married to the late Phyllis C. Johnson of Staunton, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Augusta Health.
Mr. Johnson was born on April 18, 1949, the son of the late Roscoe and Thelma Johnson of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Harvey Johnson of Denver, CO; and two sisters, Venus Henderson of Lexington, VA and Mariah Greene of Waynesboro, VA.
Roscoe worked for McKee Foods for over 27 years and drove over 2 million miles for the company.
He is survived by his stepchildren, Angela Loan and her husband, Glenn of Fishersville, VA and James Shanks; a nephew, Sean Henderson of Lexington, VA; a foster brother, Tommy Lewis of Lexington, VA; grandchildren, Athena Mabry and Zechariah Loan, both of Mountain Home, Idaho; great-grandchildren, Lana Grace and Hatley Michael Mabry; he also had additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Elizabeth Dean.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Pastor Terrance Williams.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Charlottesville House of Prayer, 3010 Berkmar Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
