Ruth Frances Banks

Ruth Frances (Murphy) Banks, 76, of Staunton went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

She was born March 12, 1945 in Norfolk the daughter of the late Herbert Dean and Dorothy (Gilbert) Murphy.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by NHC Home Care as a Director of Nursing.

Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Kip and Lisa Clinton; a daughter, Stacy Villars; four grandchildren, Hannah, Christopher, Christina, and Dominique; two great grandchildren, Kayson and Cole; and nephews, Larry and wife, Mary Jane, Doug, Danny and Timmy Snyder; and numerous nieces and additional nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Blimp and Otto; and two sisters, Lola and Etta; and a nephew, Rodney Snyder.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Russell Heinrich.

The family will receive friends following the service in the funeral home.
