SALLY ANN LOVEJOY STUARTS DRAFT, VA… Sally Ann Lovejoy, 75, formerly of Shrewsbury and Milford, MA, died April 14, 2017 after an illness. She was born September 13, 1941, in Auburn, MA, the sixth child of the late Harry and Harriett (Hersey) Lovejoy. She graduated from Central New England College of Technology Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. She worked as Engineering Manager, first for the Kidde Corp., then Digital Equipment Corp., retiring from TJX Associates as Engineering Manager in 2001. Upon retirement in 2001, Sally and her husband, Richard relocated to the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Retirement activities she most loved were volunteering on Trinity Church Altar Guild, and being an active volunteer for Virginia German Shepherd Rescue in many capacities. Survivors include a step-son, Mark Cunningham and wife, Colleen, of Kentucky; step-daughters, Christine Nikitides and Kim Whitman, both of Michigan; grandchildren, Sara Tinker, Stephanie Smith, Timothy Cunningham, Michael Nikitides, Lambros Nikitides, Dina Nikitides, Torie Craven, Melissa Horne, and Adam Rousseau; many great grandchildren; nephews, Stephen Moshier, Jerry Lovejoy, Jr., Perry White, Will Cunningham, Christopher Lovejoy, and Brian Lovejoy; nieces, Michelle Dorr, Holly Earl, Susan, Colleen, and Dana Lovejoy, Paula Gagnon, LuAnn Lovejoy, and Caitlin Cunningham; and many great nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and husband, Richard Lawrence Cunningham, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jane McLaughlin, Midge White, Jerry Lovejoy Sr., Nancy Moshier, and Harry Lovejoy. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Thornrose Cemetery by the Rev. Dr. Paul Nancarrow. The family is truly grateful for Hosparus of KY, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive, Louisville, KY 40205, who made it possible for Sally to be with family. Please give to programs like this who provide comfort and guidance through tough times. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Virginia German Shepherd Rescue, P.O.
