SANDRA B. BROWN STAUNTON, VA Sandra Kay (Bayne) Brown, 47, wife of Leland S. Brown, of 963 West Beverley Street, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at her residence. She was born March 24, 1964, in Staunton a daughter of Doris (Nease) Wimer of Weyers Cave and the late Paul Bayne. Mrs. Brown was employed by Martin's Food Stores. She was a member of Allen Chapel, where she was a member of the choir and the Church Food Bank. In addition to her husband and mother, family members include her step-father, Nathan Wimer of Weyers Cave; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ray Ashby, III and Amanda Nuckoles of Madison, TN, Robert Ashby and Brittany Nuckoles of Minot AFB, ND; and Ryan Scott and Kathy Ashby of Lawrenceville, GA; a brother, Paul Bayne of Staunton; a sister, Nancy Leach of Staunton; her mother-in-law, Virginia Vaughn of Staunton; and three grandchildren, Layne, Ashlee, and Madison Nuckoles. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Allen Chapel by the Revs. Edward Scott, Bishop T. E. Payne, Sr, and Tampa Stuart. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends anytime at 88 Manchester Drive, Apt. 100, Staunton. Memorials may be made to Allen Chapel, 936 Sudbury Street, Staunton, VA 24401.
