SANDRA K. RICHIE STUARTS DRAFT, VA… Sandra Christine (Kehrer) Richie, 65, of 342 Old White Hill Road, died Thursday, April 7, 2016, in Augusta Health. She was born June 7, 1950, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Theodore Rinehold and Christine Rothwell (Boyd) Kehrer. Prior to retirement, Ms. Richie was a bookkeeper. She was a very active member of the Stuarts Draft Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. She was an avid sports fan and lover of cats. Family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Candace Henkel and Lance and Julie Richie, all of Stuarts Draft; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stephen T. and Amy Kehrer of Raphine and Ted R. and Millie Kehrer of Greenville; a grandchild, Andrew Henkel; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Daniel “Boone” Kehrer and a grandchild, Jackson Henkel. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Bro. Wil Hufsmith.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local SPCA.
