Sarah Jean Mcdorman

SARAH S. MCDORMAN WAYNESBORO, VA Sarah Jean (Speers) McDorman, 62, of 204 N. Point School Road, died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at her residence. She was born July 2, 1949 in Tifton, VA a daughter of the late Dr. James and Jean (Bellflower) Speers. Mrs. McDorman was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She was employed by Valley Community Services Board. She is survived by her former husband, Retired SFC Dann C. McDorman; a son, Dann S. McDorman of Brooklyn, NY; a daughter, Jennifer N. McDorman of Staunton; a sister, Susan Speers; three grandchildren, Logan Hilbert, Beatrice McDorman, and Vivian McDorman; and her friend, James Plunkett. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. David Speers and a sister, Diane Bellflower. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
