Shara B. Shiflet

STAUNTON, VA…             Shara Lee (Ballard) Shiflet, 87, widow of Clarence Moffet Shiflet, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at her residence.             She was born February 18, 1931, in Hinton, West Virginia a daughter of the late Clayton Hansborugh and Ethel (Carter) Ballard.             She was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church.             In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Zwart; a grandson, Kaleb Zwart; four brothers and three sisters.             Family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen and Joseph Marino and Pamela Shiflet; two grandchildren, David and Jessica Marino; a great-grandchild, Jackie Fitzgerald; and numerous nieces and nephews.             She spent much of her time keeping her grandchildren.             A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018, in Hebron Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Frank Wyche.
