ST. CLAIR W. TALBERT STAUNTON, VA St. Clair Winiker Talbert, 83, husband of Eva (Craft) Talbert, of 325 Old Greenville Road, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at his residence. He was born January 2, 1929 in Danville, a son of the late Earl Sigsbe and Esther Louise (Winiker) Talbert. Prior to retirement, Mr. Talbert was a Virginia State Trooper. He was a former member of the Ruritans, the Lion's Club and Downtown Church of Christ. In addition to his wife family members include a son, Allen Lynn St. Clair Talbert; a daughter, Emma Savage; a step-son, Carl Moore; a step-daughter, Katherine Cave; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He is preceded death by a brother, Earl S. Talbert, Jr. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2012 in the Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by Stuart Graham and Fred Moats. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of the Shenandoah, P. O. Box 215, Fishersville, VA 22939. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
