Stanley Gula

STANLY E. GULA, JR. STAUNTON, VA Stanley Edward Gula, Jr., 69, widower of Patricia (Waters) Gula, of Shutterlee Mill Road, Staunton, died on Friday, June 14, 2013 at his residence. He was born on June 19, 1943 in Newport News, the son of Stanley E. and Patricia A. (Conniff) Gula. He began his career in communications with Western Electric. Mr. Gula later retired from Lucent Technologies where he was a communications technician. Surviving family members include a son, John "Jake" Waters of Richmond; a sister and brother-in-law, Patti and James Moore of Yorktown, VA; a granddaughter, Amanda Wolf of Newport News; and a grandson, Matthew Marchiano. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelly Gula; and a brother, John-James A. Gula. A gathering of family and friends will be held at his residence in July.
