STELLA P. BUCKLEY STAUNTON, VA…. Stella Beatrice (Pierce) Buckley, 94, widow of Koy Angus Buckley, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born June 13, 1922, in Florence, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Henry and Blanche Pierce. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Buckley. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Pam Buckley of W. Mifflin, Pennsylvania; a daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Monty Murphy of Staunton; four grandchildren, Michael S. Sumner, Laurie Cook, Jennifer Williams, and Nicole Buckley; and seven great grandchildren, Zach Sumner, Kelsey Cook, Nicholas Cook, Madyson Grace Sumner, Shawna Williams, Ashlyn Williams, and Caroline Gazdag. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Steve Traylor.
