Stella Carroll Kruschke

STELLA C. KRUSCHKE STAUNTON, VA Stella (Carroll) Bailey Kruschke, 97, widow of Jerry G. Kruschke died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at King's Daughters' Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born January 17, 1916, in Brownsburg, a daughter of the late John A. and Agnes B. Carroll. She was a member of Gypsy Hill A.A.R.P. She traveled the world with her first husband and enjoyed needlework, craft work, and floral work. In addition to her second husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarance A. Bailey; two brothers, Roscoe Carroll and Otis Carroll; and three sisters, Edna M. Carroll, Callie E. Perry, and Irene Swisher. Family members include a number of nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A private graveside service will be conducted at Thornrose Cemetery. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
