Steven Randall Carpenter

STEVEN R. CARPENTER STAUNTON, VA…             Steven Randall Carpenter, 58, husband of Annette Marie Carpenter, of 100 Sage Road, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence.             He was born January 22, 1960, in Lynchburg, a son of Philip Randall and Maxine (Lines) Carpenter.             Prior to retirement, Mr. Carpenter was employed by Dupont followed by Hershey Chocolate.             He was an avid NASCAR  fan and loved trains.             In addition to his wife and parents, family members include two sons, Jason Sayre of Staunton and Brad Sayre of Waynesboro; a daughter, Sara Elizabeth Carpenter of Keswick; and five grandchildren, Noah Warlitner; Zane, Easton, Micah, and McKenzie Sayre.             The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in the Henry Funeral Home.             His cremains will be scattered at a later date at Cass Railroad in West Virginia.
