SCOTT GREGORY STAUNTON, VA Steven Scott Gregory, 37, died unexpectedly at his residence at 24 Montgomery Road, Staunton, October 15, 2011. To his remote-control friends and competitors he was "DEMON DOG". This was his true passion. If it was racing or sitting for hours with tiny parts everywhere, he was in his element. He was born September, 18, 1974 in Staunton, a son of Jackie W. Robinson of Staunton and the late James Steven Gregory. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, William E. Robinson, Sr.; a step-brother, William E. Robinson, Jr. (JR) at home; his daughter, Amber and her mother, Misty Kyle of Waynesboro; maternal grandmother, Wilma Wimer of Staunton; and his "soul-mate", Kim Snyder of Waynesboro who cared for and supported him through the good days and bad. He also had numerous extended family members. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerlin Wimer; and paternal grandparents, James and Naomi Gregory of Craigsville. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2011 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. John Wampler. Family night will be conducted from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Henry Funeral Home, where we will share memories and celebrate his life as only he knew how to do. There was never a dull moment around him. Per his wishes, he was cremated and we ask all family and friends to dress in casual attire for both events. Those wishing will be welcome at his mother's residence, 1201 Montgomery Avenue, Staunton.
