Susan Loughhead Cullen

SUSAN L. CULLEN STUARTS DRAFT, VA Susan (Loughhead) Cullen, 73, wife of David Elliott Cullen, Sr., of 363 Cambridge Court, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at her residence. She was born March 30, 1940, in Falls Church, a daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Jane (Gilbert) Loughhead. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Alleghany Regional Hospital and Halifax General Hospital as an RN. She was a member of Old Providence ARP Church. She was a member of the Gideons. Mrs. Cullen and her husband were missionaries in Wales and Pakistan for the ARP Church. Mrs. Cullen was an avid golfer. In addition to her husband, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, David Elliott, Jr. and Natalie Cullen of Palmyra; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Lee Cahoon of Selma; grandchildren include, Zachary Cullen and his wife Michelle, Alexander Cullen, Wendy Dudding and her husband Matt, Christopher Cahoon and Kevin Cahoon; one great grandchild, Carrigan Cahoon; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and John Dickinson of Buena Vista and Kathy and Ceril Harrington of Thomasville, NC. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard (Dutch) Loughhead, David Loughhead and one grandchild, David E. Cullen, III. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
