Sylvia Mae (Bosserman) Ralston

SYLVIA M. RALSTON  Sylvia Mae (Bosserman) Ralston, 83, wife of John Thomas Ralston of Staunton, died Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Augusta Health. She was born November 6, 1933 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Clyde Ernest and Mary Bell (Rexrode) Bosserman. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, VFW Post 2216 Ladies Auxiliary, and AARP. In addition to her husband, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel T. and Jeanne Ralston of Keswick; a daughter, Terry A. Holtz and Ricky Benson of Staunton; three brothers, Jerry Bosserman of Swoope, Jimmy Bosserman of Petersburg, WV and Don Bosserman of Craigsville; two sisters, Nancy Bosserman of Staunton and Barbara Hayes of Pensacola, FL; five grandchildren, Anne Wolfe, Adam Ralston, Alison Ralston, Monika Holtz, and Robert Holtz; and three great grandchildren, Allexus, Makalia, and Dedrick Holtz. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Bosserman and Tom Bosserman and four sisters, Mazie Law, Dot Ailer, Betty Price, and Linda Botkin. Burial will be private and there will be a visitation at a later date.  Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
