Sarah Jean Sweet

Sarah Jean “Dude” (Lipscomb) Sweet, 63, wife of Donnie Lee Sweet, of Stuarts Draft, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Augusta Health.

She was born February 4, 1958 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Henry Cline and Kathleen (Crawford) Lipscomb.

Prior to retirement, Sarah was employed as a CNA.

In addition to her husband, family members include a son, Nathaniel Sweet; two granddaughters, Ginger and Lillian; sister-in-law, Linda Lipscomb; special friend and caretaker, Melody Bright; special pup, Lacey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 in Faith Revival Center by the Rev. Dennis Bradley. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
