Steven Wayne Clifton

Steven Wayne Clifton, 62, husband of Robin (Cook) Clifton, of Staunton, died Friday, August 6, 2021, at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1959, in Staunton, a son of the late Lydia Frances (Piner) Cash.

Mr. Clifton was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Clifton was employed by Kjellstrom and Lee Construction as a site manager.

He was a member of Little River Church of the Brethren.

In addition to his wife, family members include two sons, Derek Logan Clifton of Massachusetts and Colby Matthew Clifton of Idaho; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John (Peggy) Clifton of Christiansburg, Ricky (Pam) Clifton of New Hope, and Gary (Janet) Clifton of Staunton; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandy (Michael) Smalley of St. Charles, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Russell Heinrich. Burial will be at a later date.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the funeral home.
