Susie J. Stallings

Susie Jane Taylor Stallings of Eston Dr. passed away May 17th, 2021 at her home. she was born Sept. 22, 1932 to the late James and Lizzie Taylor. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 59 years Joseph P. Stallings Sr, 2 sisters Lillian T. Tanner and Louise Utz, brother in law Don Utz and nephew Greg Utz. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Joseph Paul Stallings Jr., and daughter in-law Martha, loving former daughter- in- law Susan, 2 grandchildren, Luna Stallings (Anna) and Tai Stallings (Demetrius), 5 great-grandchildren, nephews- Mike and Rusty Tanner of Reva and Donnie and Paul Utz of Madison; two nieces, Vickie Elmore and Donna Deane “Tinker”, both of Madison. As well as several great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and a wonderful, caring family friend Brenda Mantlo. In keeping with Susie’s wishes, her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cancer Research, 1920-H medical Ave., Harrisonburg, VA 22801. The family is very grateful to AseraCare Hospice for their loving care.
