Thelma Whitesell

THELMA R. WHITESELL RAPHINE, VA Thelma (Ramsey) Whitesell was born at "Whispering Pines" Farm on November 27, 1936 and peacefully left this world on January 1, 2014 at "Whispering Pines". Thelma loved life and never met a stranger. She gave freely of her time and herself. She especially loved her grandsons and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Preston and Madeline (McCormack) Ramsey. Thelma spent her working career in the legal field and retired as a paralegal. She enjoyed assisting her clients in any and all aspects. Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Eric Moore of Raphine; two grandchildren, Kevin B. Moore and wife, Julie, and Kody P. Moore, all of Raphine; and six great grandchildren. She also had a special step-daughter, Julie Skrivan of Charlottesville. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to Kingsway, P.O. Box 32, Steeles Tavern, VA 24476.
