THOMAS N. VINCENT STAUNTON, VA Thomas Nelson Vincent, 59, widower of Connie Jo (Reed) Vincent, of Staunton, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at his residence. He was born January 21, 1956, in Staunton, a son of the late Rufus Edward and Frances (Harper) Vincent. He was a graduate of Buffalo Gap High School class of 1974 and earned an Associate Degree in Agri-Business from Blue Ridge Community College. Prior to retirement, Tom was employed by McKee and was currently employed by Kroger's. Family members include a daughter, Carrie Vincent of Staunton; a son, Matthew Vincent and girlfriend, Alexis Flavin, of Staunton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Susan Vincent of Staunton and John and Suzy Vincent of North Carolina; nieces, Kelly Dodd Barker and husband, Brian, and Cecilia Vincent; nephews, Benjamin Ernie Reed and Sam Vincent; great nephew, Derek Barker; and an aunt, Dorothy Harper of Harrisonburg. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Todd Yoder. Burial will be private in Thornrose Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Benjamin Reed, Sam Vincent, Craig Williams, Corey Wood, Brady Dodson, Ethan Wandless, Michael Rexrode, and Thomas Bugden. Honorary pallbearers will be Rosie Green, Logan May, Meghan Rexrode, and Morgan Allanson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at the funeral home.
