    TaJuana M. Sanders

    December 25, 1966 - February 28, 2022

On Monday, February 28,2022, God sent his angels to Johns Hopkins Hospital to bring TaJuana Marie (Scott) Sanders home to be with him. TaJuana, also known to all as Tee, was born on December 25, 1966, to Ann and the late Worthy Scott in Washington, DC. TaJuana moved to Columbia, Maryland in 1979, She graduated from Oakland Mills High School in 1984. Having many friends for over 30 years in the Columbia, Baltimore, and D.C area, TaJuana was the life of the party. TaJuana worked as a senior claims adjuster for AIG and the City of Baltimore for over 25 years. TaJuana's favorite color was pink. She loved to go to the Casino, shopping and going to see Go-Go bands. Family was everything to TaJuana, she enjoyed opening her home to host cookouts. Left Right Center and playing Poker was the highlight of the night. TaJuana’s favorite pastime was watching Lifetime and binge-watching shows with her husband Tarik. Everyone loved TaJuana’s sweet and caring soul. If she had it, you had it. TaJuana was determined, dedicated, hardworking and just loving to all who came in contact with her. Waiting at Heaven's Door for TaJuana was her dad Worthy Scott and other family angels who passed before him. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Tarik Sanders; her mother, Ann Scott; her brother/ cousin Andre Vaughn; her children, Najah and Nasim; bonus son, Evan; her furry daughter Akeelah; her bonus sisters, Aisha Jacobs and Amanda Williams Hankins; brother in law Leon Hankins; nieces and nephews Shantae, Cliff, Alante, Eva, Jayla, Cliff II and Amari; and a host of god children, family and friends. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend Michael Turner. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
