Timothy Eugene Benson

TIMOTHY E. BENSON VERONA, VA Timothy Eugene Benson, 55, of Verona, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Augusta Health Hospital following a brief illness. He was born May 30, 1960 in Staunton. He was formerly employed by Daikin McQuay for 26 years where he served several terms as president of Local Union 123. He is survived by his wife, Anita Benson of Verona; his parents Frank and Dollie Clark of Buena Vista; a son, Dustin Benson and wife Marita of Starheim, Norway; a granddaughter, Emma Leigh Benson; two brothers, Philip Clark and wife Dawn and Nelson Clark, both of Buena Vista; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Chris Clark and David Clark. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Pleasant View Cemetery by the Rev. Harold W. "Pete" Campbell. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home.
