VERNIE D. MILLER  STAUNTON, VA… Vernie Virginia (Drawbond) Miller, 93, widow of William “Bill” Marshall Miller, Jr., of 609 Parkview Ave., died Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Brookdale Assisted Living.She was born March 25, 1923, in Augusta County a daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Painter) Drawbond.Prior to retirement, Mrs. Miller was employed by Tommies Pajama Factory. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela V. Miller and three brothers.Family members include a daughter, Brenda M. Krichbaum of Verona; and two grandchildren, Gary Lee Krichbaum, Jr of Verona and William E. Krichbaun of Fishersville. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, in Thornrose Cemetery by Chaplain Murphy Terry and Mr. Leon Turner. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
