Virginia Mae Mohler

VIRGINIA M. MOHLER VESUVIUS, VA Virginia Mae (Waybright) Mohler, 88, widow of James Walter Mohler, of Vesuvius, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in King's Daughters' Nursing and Rehab Center, Staunton. She was born June 22, 1925, in Highland County, a daughter of the late Fred C. and Laura (Lantz) Waybright. Mrs. Mohler was a homemaker and helped raise most of the Vesuvius children. She was a member of Vesuvius Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, and two sisters-in-law. Family members include a son, Earl Mohler and daughter-in-law, Joy, of Stuarts Draft; two sisters, Maxine Duff of Staunton and Lillian "Connie" Wolfe of Fredericksburg, Maryland; a granddaughter, Kimberly Wilson and her husband, Michael; and a great grandson, Kyle Wilson. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013, in Vesuvius Baptist Church. Following the service the family will receive friends at her house. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
