Viola May (Johnson) Strickler, 85, widow of Norman Ray Strickler, died on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Hillside Assisted Living.
She was born February 28, 1935 in Brownsburg, daughter of the late James Thomas and Mary (Oscar) Johnson.
Family includes her daughters, Dorothy Strickler and Ella Oscar; son, Sam Strickler; brother, John Johnson; two grandchildren, James Lee Shiflett, Sr. and Curtis Strickler; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Shiflett; son, Walter Strickler; brothers, Harry, Frank, and Elwood; and sisters, Mary, Claire, and Arlene.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Henry Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols will be followed.
Burial will be private.
