WANDA H. STATONSTAUNTON, VA...Wanda Adell (Hall) Staton, 81, of Staunton, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2015.She was born July 26, 1934, in Falling Springs, a daughter of the late Hugh H. Hall and Marie (Cobb) Hall Hughes.She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, she loved her church and serving her community.For many years she enjoyed caring for elderly ladies at her Adult Home on Waverley Street.Family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, William Lee and Cynthia (Shannon) Staton of Verona and Thomas Hunter and Tandy (Fix) Staton of STaunton; four grandchildren, Michelle McNeal, Dustin Staton, Zachary Staton, and Chance Staton; a great grandchild, Claire McNeal; a brother, Hugh H. Hall, Jr. of Newland, NC; two foster brothers, Bill Edwards and former wife, Reba, and Carl Graves and wife, Wilma; her former husband, Reuben W. Staton of Staunton; and a number of step-brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.She requested no flowers; memorials may be sent to Memorial Baptist Church, 224 Taylor Street, Staunton, VA 24401.A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2015, in Memorial Baptist Church by the Revs. Mark W. Jones, Benjamin Sprouse, and Temple D. Myers. Burial will be private.
