Wayne R. Snodgrass

WAYNE R. SNODGRASS STAUNTON, VA Wayne R. Snodgrass, 57, husband of Deborah F. Snodgrass, of Staunton, passed away June 13, 2014, at his residence. He was born on March 28, 1957 in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Eugene and Reba (Oscar) Snodgrass. Mr. Snodgrass was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was an officer with the Staunton City Police Department. He has been employed part-time by Lowe's of Staunton, and later by Blue Knight Investigations. He enjoyed his Corvette and the car shows in Carlisle, PA. In addition to his wife of seven years, he is survived by a step son, James Myers of Alexandria; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Gena Rae and Richard Lipscomb of Elkview, WV, Micki Snodgrass of Staunton, Karen Sue and Gary Rampino of Charleston, WV, and Cindy and Joe Storts of Seminole, FL. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Greg Czernick. Burial will be at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Russ Ralston, Scott Stogdale, Michael Barnes, Kimper Morris, Shane Ayers, C.B. Engleman, and Ray Hartless. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 on Sunday, June 16, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Richard R.
