WILBUR L. GREGORY LUTHERVILLE TIMONIUM, MD Wilbur Leroy Gregory, 88, widower of Virginia (Moore) Gregory, of Aberdeen, Maryland, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, in Stella Maris Nursing Home, Maryland. He was born October 20, 1925, in Staunton a son of the late Wilbur Guy and Mary Alice (Stover) Gregory. Mr. Gregory was a veteran of the U.S. Marines having served during World War II. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 109, Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to his wife of 64 years, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Gabinet. Family members include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathan L. and Linda Gregory of Aberdeen, Maryland, Gary L. and Judy Gregory of Swoope, Joseph E. and Deserie Gregory of Abington, Maryland; a brother, Lewis Gregory of Yuma, Arizona; a sister, Majorie Grewe of Staunton; six grandchildren, Nicole, JR, Ryan, Kyle, Jenna, and Brice; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 12 noon, Thursday, June 26, 2014, in Thornrose Cemetery by the Rev. Harold W. "Pete" Campbell. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
