WILLIAM H. ARGENBRIGHT, JR. STAUNTON, VA William Henry "Bill" Argenbright, Jr., 80, husband of Kay (Miller) Argenbright, of Staunton, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012, with his family by his side at Shenandoah House, Fishersville. He was born March 6, 1932, in Staunton, the son of the late William H. Argenbright and Evelyn (Bragg) Argenbright Sutton and the step-son of the late Harry O. "Bud" Sutton. He graduated from Wilson Memorial High School, Class of 1951, and from Woodrow Wilson Technical School in 1952. He retired from Western State Hospital where he worked in Patient Accounts. He was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder of the Church for many years, a Sunday School teacher, and Clerk of the Session. He was a life member of the Augusta Lions Club and an Associate member of the Woodrow Wilson Lioness Lions Club. For all who knew him, he was friendly, outgoing, and had a keen sense of humor. In addition to his wife of 58 years, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry W. and Laura Argenbright of Staunton; a daughter, Susan R. Argenbright of Staunton; two grandchildren, Brian W. Argenbright and his wife, Melanie, of Staunton and Aaron W. Argenbright of McGaheysville; a great grandchild, Kaylin L. Argenbright of Staunton; and a special friend of the family, Carolyn D. Roberts of Staunton. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012, in the Olivet Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Jack Wilkers. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Brian Argenbright, Aaron Argenbright, and nephews, Greg Evans, Josh Evans, Robert Weller, Patrick Weller, Tony Reed, and Mark Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Augusta Lions Club, Woodrow Wilson Lioness Lions Club, and Elders of the Church. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home. A special thanks to the staff of the Shenandoah House, the nurses of the Hospice of the Shenandoah, and Home Health. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, P.O.
