Bill worked in retail business all of his working years. He was working for Montgomery Ward and Company. When he retired in 1992, he stayed on part-time until Ward’s closed their doors. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Antha Mae Houston; and four brothers, Elwood Ellinger, Fred Ellinger, Travis Ellinger, and George Ellinger. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016, in St. James Lutheran Church, Fishersville by the Rev. William T.
