WILLIAM B. GLOVER STAUNTON, VA… William Bowman “Bill” Glover, 80, husband of Cynthia “Cindy” (Jordan) Glover, of Staunton, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 23, 1937, in Augusta County, a son of the late Bowman William and Mae (Shuey) Glover. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Dupont. He was an entrepreneur and loved farming and gardening. He was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife, family members include three daughters, Angela Ingram and husband (favorite son-in-law), Walter, of Staunton, Teresa Sprouse of Stuarts Draft, and Kimberly G. Dupree of Staunton; a sister and brother-in-law, Ada Mae and Robert Halley; seven grandchildren, Chadwick and Karmen Bazzrea, Anscia Simpson and Sara Floyd, Seth Sprouse, and Taylor and Keaton Dupree; and a great granddaughter, Chloe Grace Bazzrea. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Ware (Rosen) Glover and two brothers. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Hebron Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Luke Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Chris Campbell, Chadwick Bazzrea, Jonathan Riley, Hunter Jones, Bucky Ingram, and Brad Ingram. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Shifflett, Curtis Smith, Dow Fitzgerald, Doug Riley, Thomas Glover, Jimmy Glover, and Jack Glover. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home.
