WINDELL W. FARRIS STAUNTON, VA Windell Wayne Farris, 61, husband of Terry Jenkins Farris of 234 Springleigh Dr. passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at home with his family. He leaves behind his mother, Marlene Worrells and her husband, Glen of North Carolina. Surviving in addition to his wife of 37 years are one daughter, Sabrina Briones and husband, Keith of New Jersey; three sons, Stephin Farris and wife, Crystal of Staunton, Travis Farris and wife, Tina of Waynesboro, Shawn Hall Farris and wife, Adrianna of Mt. Sidney; five grandchildren, Koty, JR, DeAnna, Michael, Shelby; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Bentley; two brothers, Blaine "Puggy" Farris and wife, Sally of Waynesboro, Aubrey "Stinker" Earhart and wife, Donna of Spotsylvania; one sister, Susie Humphries and Harvey of Crozet; a number of nieces and nephews and many more close friends. He was a one of a kind guy. He was a son, brother, veteran, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and has survived so much in his life. He showed so much strength and always made sure his family came first and was safe. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He will be truly missed. We love you "Papa."
