Wade Allen Switzer

Wade Allen “Bud” Switzer, 71, husband of Judy Ann Foley, of Crimora, died Monday, January 4, 2021, at Augusta Health, Fishersville.

He was born September 9, 1949, in Virginia, a son of the late John Daniel and Mary (Edwards) Switzer.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Switzer was employed by Packaging Corporation of America with 39 years of service. He also worked as a mechanic at Wayside Auto Sales.

He loved NASCAR and all sports. He was loved and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife of 12 years, family members include a son, Christopher Switzer; a step-son, Benjamin Foley; two daughters, Amy Switzer and Holly Beach; a step-daughter, April Rice; a brother, Daniel Switzer; a sister-in-law, Georgia Switzer; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel.
