Wilda June Cook

WILDA A. COOK STAUNTON, VA Wilda June Armstrong Cook, 82, of Staunton, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at King's Daughters' Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born June 29, 1932, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late William Henry and Edna Ruth (Hupman) Armstrong. Family members include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Danny Cook, Mark and Jean Cook, and Jeff and Trina Cook; two daughters and a son-in-law, Teresa Cook and Karen and Kenny Schnell; 11 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Murphy Terry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Staunton, Inc., P.O. Box 2354, Staunton, VA 24402.
