William Browning "Brown" Davis Iii

William Browning “Brown” Davis III, husband of Lynda (Folks) Davis, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his residence.

He was born April 19, 1957 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late William Browning, Jr. and Priscilla (Rhode) Davis.

He retired after 25 years from Virginia Metalcrafters as a Plant Engineer. Brown was well-known for his creative ingenuity and his craftsmanship.

Family in addition to his wife includes his daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Ken Herz of Staunton; his sister, Jessica Davis of Enterprise, Oregon; his brother-in-law Michael Lose of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; his nephew, Adam Lose of Kissimmee, Florida; and a special friend, Kenny Lawhorne of Afton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Timothy W. Davis; and his sister, Valerie Lose.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 in Henry Funeral Home.
