William G. Hunter
RAPHINE - William George “Bill” Hunter, 86, passed away on July 11, 2022 at Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah.
Bill was born May 6, 1936 in Lexington, Virginia to the late Blackford Harris Hunter and Callie Morrison Hunter. He was preceded in death by a special friend, Bucky Buchanan.
Bill spent his entire life working on his farm raising beef cattle. He also took pride in raising a beautiful vegetable garden, which he loved sharing with his friends and neighbors. Bill was a special person who would do anything he could for his friends and he will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Luther Witt officiating.
A special thank you is extended to the staff of Augusta Health and the Shenandoah House for their loving care.
