William Henry Linen, Jr.

SWOOPE, VA… William Henry Linen, Jr., 73, husband of Linda (White) Linen, of 30 Scenic View Drive, died Monday, February 29, 2016, in the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. He was born December 21, 1942, in Cohoes, NY, a son of the late William Henry, Sr., and Teresa Linen. Mr. Linen was the founder of Rule RV and later worked for Charlie Obaugh RV. In addition to his wife family members include seven children, Bill Linen II, Sean Linen, Eric Campbell, and Sean Campbell, Jenny Linen DeTrinis, Elizabeth Mitchell, and Carrie Creasy; three brothers, two sisters; and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Dan Darrikhuma. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery in Churchville. Active pallbearers will be Bill Linen II, Charles Coker, Joel DeTrinis, Steve Wiseman, Bob Hoy, and Chris Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be family, friends, and neighbors attending the service. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
