William Edward Robinson Sr.

STAUNTON, VA William Edward Robinson, Sr., 69, of 1201 Montgomery Avenue, Staunton, died as a result of a traffic accident November 5, 2015. Bill was born October 30, 1946, to the late Virginia Alley Robinson and Raymond P. Robinson of Staunton. He drove a tractor-trailer for WRJR Hauling LLC owned by his son. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Wimer Robinson; a son, William E. Robinson, Jr. "JR"; a grandson, Colby Edward Knight; a granddaughter, Amber Gregory; four sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family both related and not. Besides his parents Bill was preceded in death by his step-son, Steven Scott Gregory and father-in-law, Gerlin Wimer. As per his request, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Scott Duffey. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 in the funeral home. Since no one has ever seen him dressed in anything but jeans, button-up shirt and cap please dress casual.
