Anna Catherine "Kitty" Faught Glovier, 100, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

She was born on February 14, 1926, in Augusta County and was the only daughter to the late Warren Franklin and Roxie Anna Crone Faught.

She was a proud graduate of North River High School, Class of 1943. Gifted in music, she was a talented pianist and organist, who faithfully shared her abilities at Glossbrenner Memorial United Methodist Church in Churchville. She later continued her ministry through music at Fifth Street United Brethren Church in Staunton.

She was a woman of strong faith and a devoted member of Staunton Alliance Church.

Her servant’s heart extended beyond the church walls. She played an instrumental role in helping to organize the Valley Mission Thrift Store, where she also worked for a number of years.

Above all, her life was rooted in her faith. She found great joy in studying Bible prophecy and lived with a hopeful anticipation of the return of Jesus Christ.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Jenny Leigh Glovier Liskey and her husband, Greg; her grandchildren, Rachel Ramsbottom and her husband, John; Ruth Weese and her fiancé, Rob Travers; Anna Carroll and her husband, Dennis; Rebekah Woodford and her husband, Bill; Sarah Stephens and her husband, Chris; Elizabeth Coleman and her husband, James; Abigail Turnbull and her husband, Conner; and Jason Liskey and his wife, Rachel; her great-grandchildren, Lee Nolen and his wife McKinsey; James Weese, Pat Woodford, Connor, Joseph, and Jack Carroll, Terra Stephens, Aaron Coleman and his wife, Tiffany, Ryan and Adelyn Coleman, Rowan and Nora Liskey, and David Turnbull; and a great-great grandchild, Taylor Nolen.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Otterbine Glovier; her son, Carl Milton Glovier; her daughter, Terrie Anna Connor; and her brothers, Ward Franklin, Jared Winston, Stanley Jones, and William Boyd Faught.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Henry Funeral Home Staunton with Reverend Paige Adams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 9:30 AM.

Interment will immediately follow at Thornrose Cemetery in Staunton.
