Bennie G. Reeves

Bennie Garland Reeves, 77, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah House.

He was born on March 13, 1948, in Augusta County to the late Marshall Jones and Ruby Viola Corbin Reeves.

Bennie was a graduate of Fort Defiance High School and spent many years as a truck driver for Adams Construction Company.

He was a man set in his ways and believed in doing things his own way. Honest, hardworking, and dependable, he lived life on his own terms and stood by what he believed was right.

He was a member of Verona United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his brothers, Gary Wayne and Richard Matthew Reeves.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Marshall Douglas, Sr., David Lee, Sr., and Thomas Wesley Reeves; and his sister, Bonnie Jean Reeves Benson.

He will be inurned at Shenandoah Baptist Church Cemetery in Verona.

At his request there will be no formal services.
