Bonnie Edna Campbell Mason, 82, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at home.

She was born on November 11, 1943, in Waynesboro to the late Raymond Elwood and Edna Lavaun Fulwider Campbell.

Bonnie loved spending time outdoors, especially going camping and enjoying the beauty of nature.

She had a special passion for planting flowers, and particularly loved sunflowers and orchids, which brought her great joy.

Bonnie especially enjoyed cooking and took great pride in preparing meals for the people she loved.

Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family, including her beloved dogs, Rosie and Little Bit, who were constant companions and brought her endless joy.

She is survived by her daughters, Robyn Austin and her husband, David and Crystal Heishman and her wife, Robin; her sons, Harold Heishman and his wife, Cherie and Troy Heishman and his Partner, Alicia; her step-daughter, Misty Mason Woody and her husband, Rick; her brothers, Ray Campbell and his wife, Barbara and Steve Campbell and his wife, Linda; her sisters, Christine Huff and her husband, Denzil, Dot Campbell and her partner, Jeanne, and Becky Campbell and her husband, Gary; her grandchildren, Natasha Goodloe (Tim), Nathan Austin (Ashley), Emily Shifflett (Justin), Jacob Heishman, Troy Heishman, Jr., Tory Heishman, Lilly Heishman, Elly Heishman, Tristan Mason, and Noah Woody; her great-grandchildren, Savannah Goodloe, Christian Maybush, Tyler Austin, Joel Maybush, Madalyn Austin, Ava Austin, and Sophia Shifflett; her lifelong best friend for over sixty years, Lil Childress; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-six years, Robert Buford Mason; her brothers, Victor and Jonathan Campbell; and her sister, Sandy Carlson.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at New Life Baptist Church in New Hope with Pastor Corey Smallwood officiating.

Henry Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
