Brandon W. Shoemaker

Brandon Wayne Shoemaker, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born in Staunton, Virginia on November 9, 1980, the son of Kenneth and Carol Shoemaker. He grew up in Augusta County and graduated from Wilson Memorial High School in June 1999. He attended Valley Vocational Technical Center where he studied machine shop and computer science. He worked for over 20 years at NIBCO Virginia in many areas of production and quality control. He was an avid collector of action figures and lovingly cared for his two companion cats. He attended Linden Heights Baptist Church where he faithfully served handling the audio/visual presentation responsibilities.

He is survived by his parents, his sister Laura Clark (Levi), niece Lily Opal Clark and nephew Lester Forest Clark. Also, grandmother Phyllis Talbott, uncle Russell Roberts (Sandra) and aunt Norma Shoemaker as well as numerous cousins and three great friends Joey, Andrew and Bill.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11 am at Linden Heights Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Luke B. Smith. The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall. Memorials may be made to the church which is located at 371 Linden Drive, Staunton or to the Augusta County SPCA, 33 Archery Lane, Staunton.
