Bryan Keith Maddox, a dedicated truck driver and beloved family man, passed away on July 27, 2023, in his hometown of Staunton. Born on January 26, 1956, Keith was the son of Elizabeth Rebecca Chandler Maddox and John Warren Maddox, Jr.
Throughout his life, Keith excelled in his career as a truck driver. For over fifteen years, he worked tirelessly at McKee before later becoming a manager at AMVETS. His passion for big trucks and fast cars was unmatched, and he found joy in every mile he traveled on the open roads.
Keith loved throwing darts and deer hunting. He especially enjoyed big Ford trucks and loved to tell his sons how to fix old cars and argue with them during the process. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan his whole life. He thoroughly enjoyed being the manager at AMVETS, where he had many special friends that he considered family.
Keith will always be cherished by those who survive him. Among them are his sons, Brandon K. Maddox and wife, Heather, Jeremy B. Maddox, and wife Lauren; his grandchildren, Austin Maddox, Ashton Maddox, Steven Allen, Allison Shultz, Kylee Maddox, and Tucker Maddox; his brother Phillip N. Maddox; nephews, John Michael Maddox and Nathan Maddox; and his many special friends at AMVETS.
Although he is no longer with us physically, Keiths memory will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. He will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on August 2, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home located at 1030 West Beverley Street in Staunton.
