Caleb “Cliff” Clifford Mullins, Jr., 61, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at his residence in Raphine.
He was born on April 8, 1965, in Alexandria to Caleb Clifford Mullins, Sr. and the late Mildred Ann Dolby Mullins.
Cliff was employed by Augusta County Schools where he worked in the maintenance department. He also served as an equipment operator for a construction company, where his strong work ethic was evident to all who knew him.
Outside of work, Cliff found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved camping and spending evenings gathered around a fire, listening to music and enjoying nature.
An avid outdoorsman, he had a passion for hunting and fishing, and he cherished any opportunity to be outside. He also enjoyed traveling and making memories along the way. Whether it was a weekend cookout or a quiet evening at home, Cliff loved grilling and bringing people together.
Cliff also gave back to his community through his service as a volunteer with the Raphine Volunteer Fire Department, where he was proud to serve and support those around him.
Above all, Cliff was a devoted husband. He shared twenty-one years of marriage with his wife, Kayla Coffey Mullins.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his father, Caleb Clifford Mullins, Sr.; his daughters, Jericca Mullins and her husband, Jonah and Lara Smith and her husband, Chas; his brother, Ronald Mullins and his wife, Christine; his sister-in-law, Cindy Hickman and her husband, Julian; his grandchildren, Autumn and Robin Smith; his uncle, Jerry Mullins; his aunt, Eula Vanhover; his nephews, Cory and C.J. Mullins, and Steven Wells and his wife, Michelle, and their daughter, Emily; and his mother and father-in-law, Hedley and Jackie Coffey.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Ann Dolby Mullins.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton with Pastors Sarah Hill and Paul Rash officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 PM
The burial will be held at a later date.
It is suggested that those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Raphine Fire Department (2130 Raphine Road, Raphine, VA 24472)
