CARRIE H. WILBERGER STAUNTON, VA Carrie Hannah (Hostetter) Wilberger, 73, wife of John M. Wilberger, of 314 Monument Drive, died Thursday, November 17, 2011, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born July 13, 1938 in Clifton Forge, a daughter of the late William Hostetter and Eva Robinson. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Wilberger was employed as an LPN at King's Daughter's Hospital. She also worked at Matthews Hallmark. She was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and fishing. In addition to her husband of 56 years, family members include a son John W. Wilberger; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherri W. and Dwayne Simmons of Staunton; a brother, James W. Hostetter of Staunton; a sister-in-law, Billie Ann Spitler; two grandchildren, Whitney Simmons and Zachary Simmons; a niece, Debbie Rosson; and a number of other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bobby Campbell. Burial will follow in Salem Lutheran Evangelical Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Earl Wilberger, John Dean, Robert Thompson, Roger Wilberger, Jerry Myers, Zachary Simmons. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
