Cheryl L. Robbins

Cheryl Lynn Irving Robbins, 72, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 in Fishersville.

She was born on September 16, 1953, in Cross Creek, NC, to the late Richard Lewis and Marian Joyce Frazee Irving Sr.

She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana who cherished time spent with her family. She enjoyed working puzzles and creating stained glass, as well as gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved being outdoors, especially when fishing, and had a deep love for animals, particularly her faithful service dog, Marty. She was very strong in her faith, which guided her throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Lee Robbins, with whom she recently celebrated 50 years of marriage; her daughter, Kristina Ann Robbins; her half-brother, David Lee Irving; her grandchildren, Carter Lee and Morgan Bell Faye Gutshall; her brothers-in-law, Ronnie Robbins, Ray Robbins, and Clay Robbins (Jana); her nephews, Rick Irving (Matt), Eric Robbins (Amanda), Travis Robbins (Karen), Matthew Robbins, Robbie Hudspeth (Gretchen); her nieces, Lisa Hudspeth, Brittney Hudspeth, and Kathy Robbins; and her best friend, Vanessa Coursey. In addition to those mentioned above, she is also survived by many other loving family members.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Austin Lee Robbins; her brother, Richard Lewis Irving Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Faye Hudspeth and Geri Robbins.
